Taiwanese Feng Hsin increases rebar price for this week

It's reported that Feng Hsin, one of the major steel long product makers in Taiwan announced to hike its rebar prices by NT$300/ton for this week.

However, the company remained its list prices of scrap and section steel unchanged.

After the announcement, Feng Hsin's latest prices of rebar are at NT$17,500/ton; that of section steel is at NT$19,300~NT$19,500/ton and that of scrap is at NT$9,800~NT$10,500/ton.

Meanwhile, it's predicted that the scrap prices might rise in the Taiwanese domestic market recently, driven by rebounded scrap prices in international market.
